Still one of my all time faves. True, it doesn't hurt that Kevin is laying there with his nice hairy legs and some fuzz on his chest, but..I love the mood and setting still and the color of the fire and glow of fuscia from the candle holder. One of THEE best natural photos of Kevin ever. This one, in my opinion, is priceless! Truly art worthy and wonderful! Thanks again Robert for sharing this wonder.
Hey Robert- Didn't get much of a chance to comment on my other thoughts on this shot. I REALLY love the lighting here whether it was done on site or via a filter from and editing program. EXCELLENT. The next thing I see, after Kevin, of course, the glow of the wine colored globe with the candle in it. This really adds to the mood and over all setting of this shot. This was a smart and wise choice to do this. As far as Kevin goes, well, its just plain awesome and drop dead gorgeous. (blush). This is def one of my faves you've done of Kevin. Thank you to him and you for sharing this exquisite and timeless piece of art and perfection!
little slow on my replies here.... sorry. I get so little time to spend on DA with my current workload.... **smile**.
Thanks so much for this thoughtful comment. The vast majority of the lighting is all from the original photo. I work hard to get the lighting set before shooting. However, there are always little things that need adjusting. The candle for example, it was simply not bright enough to come through so I did have to bump it a little.
Glad you enjoyed Kevin. I wish I could use some of your models sometime!
Hey Robert- No problem. I enjoy seeing the fruits of your workload....hahahaha Ok..you know what I'm saying here. YES, that particular photo I just really, really love! It IS stunning and AMAZING. DROOOOOL. I had also contacted Kevin and basically told him what I told you. I added him to my Modelmayhem page. God,I told him if he ever found himself in Ohio, I'd love to shoot with him as well. I can't do him justice as you have though. All I can say is PERFECTION at its finest.
