Model: Troy

While waiting to coordinate the launch of K-jeezy's images I thought I'd share a sneak peak at the next model coming up. Meet Troy.... this shoot had me tied in knots... I was so scared/nervous I had to ask a close friend to be at the shoot. We pretended he was there as a grip to help with moving equipment and holding lights... etc... the truth is, as a close friend I needed his support.

I've had multiple opportunities to work with black men before (or if you prefer... African American men)... but I've always found an excuse not to as I didn't think my dark lighting style would work with their skin tones. Was I wrong. I am so glad I stepped out and took a gamble. This shoot with Troy was one of my favorites!...

I won't finish processing his images till around Christmas.. so you will see more of him in the new year.
